How long does it take to confirm the price and availability of a chartered aircraft?

Our smart quoting system displays a near real-time price estimate. For executive flight requests, we require 15 to 60 minutes to confirm aircraft availability. More sophisticated requests, including cargo flights, repatriation flights, or the transport of valuable goods, may require up to 24 hours for analysis.

Does Flapper work exclusively with certified air operators?

All flights are operated exclusively on aircraft that have undergone safety inspections in accordance with RBAC 135, 121, or their foreign equivalents. We work closely with local civil aviation authorities, including ANAC, DGAC, EASA, and the FAA, to ensure that every aircraft holds valid airworthiness and maintenance certificates.

How much do you charge for your charter services?

Thanks to our high sales volume, we are able to negotiate the best prices with operators without charging additional fees. On average, clients save between 5% and 15% on their charter flights due to greater availability and fixed hourly rates that we negotiate in advance.

What is included in Flapper’s service?

Private jet and turboprop clients enjoy lounge access, complimentary snacks, and beverages on all flights. Helicopter flights require prior confirmation of available beverage options before each flight. If you wish to request a specific onboard catering service, you may do so with your City Manager up to 12 hours before the flight. All clients benefit from the personalized service of our City Managers, who guide them throughout the entire process.

Can I cancel my flight?

We have a strict cancellation policy, which may vary for domestic and international flights. Please refer to the cancellation terms outlined in the charter agreement or flight itinerary.

Before the Flight – Getting There

Do I need to check in before the flight?

No. Our team will automatically forward your details to the charter operator for mandatory insurance requests and registration with national aviation authorities. If you need to make changes to the itinerary or add additional passengers to your flight, please contact your City Manager to review the available options.

How do I know the exact time and location of my departure?

We will send the exact hangar address along with the itinerary by email. Unless otherwise specified, access to the VIP lounge (coffee and snacks) is included in the price.

Do I need identification to travel?

Yes. A valid ID or passport is required before every flight.

Do you screen your passengers?

Our customer service team conducts background checks on passengers prior to each flight. Passengers with criminal records or those who have previously been denied boarding may not be approved to fly with us.

Do I need to go through an X-ray scanner at the airport?

Approximately 95% of the general aviation hangars we use are equipped with metal detectors or X-ray baggage scanners. For all international departures, passengers are required to be scanned using a full-body X-ray scanner.

During the Flight

Does the crew serve meals during the flight?

Depending on the flight, weather conditions, and the catering option you purchase, the crew may serve snacks and beverages during the flight. If your charter includes a flight attendant, meals and drinks will be served at any time throughout the flight.

What if I start feeling unwell during the flight?

The crew, including the pilots, will administer first aid or follow an emergency action plan. All crew members are required to undergo the necessary training in accordance with international regulations governing air carrier certifications.

Do all aircraft have a restroom?

All large and long-range jets are equipped with an enclosed restroom, typically featuring a sink, mirror, essential toiletries, and a toilet. For light jets and turboprops, please refer to the amenities section on the aircraft’s page on the Flapper website or app.

Can I bring a pet on board?

In most cases—yes. Before the flight, you must inform your City Manager if you plan to bring a pet on board. On selected flights, a specialized pet carrier may be required. Shared flights have additional restrictions, and an extra fee will apply for bringing a pet on board.
